HAILLIE SUMNEY

Haillie Sumney also known as Ghana Goddess is a Canadian-born, California raised award winning Ghanaian actress, brand influencer, TV personality and Philanthropist. Haillie is a graduate of Riverside University, California. She studied nursing at the Summit Career College and worked as a nurse at the Riverside Hospital and a few healthcare agencies in the United States of America. Due to her passion for the Tv and Entertainment industry, Haillie pursued acting in Africa making a debut on TV starring in series titled “Heels and Sneakers”, “Real Lagos fake life” and “A way back home” on Netflix and Kintampo on African Magic. She also started her first hosting tv career with an entertainment news and health tip show on Ghana’s largest music and entertainment tv station, 4syte TV.

She has gone on to grace the screens of Nollywood and Ghallywood and Hollywood featuring in movies across popular streaming platforms including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, YouTube and Iroko TV and was the red carpet host for bet awards, 2018 in Hollywood, USA.

Haillie also developed an interest in real estate and oil and gas.

As the founder of the Haillie Sumney Foundation, she has carried out series of philanthropic activities in various communities in greater Accra region, central region, eastern region etc. Examples are Covid relief donations, medical screenings, eye checks prescription eyeglass giveaways, donations to widows and children etc. she has collaborated with her parents to build schools and carry out entrepreneurial skills development workshops and has made a lot of donations during the Covid-19 era (sanitizers, masks, gloves, food, cash etc)
